Data Scientist

A leading high-tech company operating in the digital B2C space, focused on high-quality, clean data rather than large-scale quantitative data.

The company works on advanced algorithmic challenges and operates at the forefront of innovation in areas such as AI and Search.

The company is bootstrapped, profitable from day one, and generated hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue in the past year.

Based in Tel Aviv, with train-line access and a hybrid work model (two days per week from home).

Responsibility -

• Be part of a core Data Science team operating at the front line of product development.
• Own the full Research-to-Production lifecycle.
• Solve complex Machine Learning problems, primarily in classical ML domains.
• Translate business problems into data-driven and algorithmic solutions.
• Perform data processing, analysis, and feature engineering.
• Train, evaluate, and deploy ML models to production.
• Continuously improve models using A/B testing and statistical methods.
• Work daily with Python and SQL, using libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Business teams.
• Core technologies: Python, SQL, Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Machine Learning, A/B Testing, AWS, Production Pipelines.

Requirements-

• BSc in a quantitative field (math, statistics, computer science. etc.)
• 3+ years of experience in a role developing predictive or explanatory models or experimentation processes with real-world data
• Deep statistical & mathematical knowledge (regression, linear algebra, properties of distributions, etc.) and the ability to understand, utilize and innovate on state-of-the art machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling
• Strong background in Python with experience in Data & ML packages and OOP
• Experience writing SQL queries
• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field - an advantage.
