CTO / Tech Lead (Equity Partner)

We are expanding, and we are looking for a brilliant & experienced developer / Team Lead / CTO to lead the AI revolution in the Israeli market. We aren't looking for "just another developer," but an Equity Partner—someone who wants to build something of their own, lead technologically, and grow with us organically.

Idea is a dynamic company building complex AI solutions and Agents for Israel’s largest and leading corporations. We have solutions running in Production in the field, paying customers, and a development team in need of a brilliant leader.

This is a "Player-Coach" role that requires high motivation:

• Hands-on (80% initially): Experience in building software architecture from scratch and writing code – Critical.
• Leadership: Providing professional guidance to the existing dev team, performing Code Reviews, and defining development standards.
• Strategy: Selecting the technology stack, working with strategic clients on complex solutions, and shaping the technological vision.

Our Tech Stack Includes:

• Backend: Python (FastAPI / Flask).
• AI: Working with LLMs (Gemini, GPT, Claude), building RAG systems, and Agents using LangGraph / CrewAI / Custom frameworks.
• AI-Assisted Development: Experience coding with AI agents (Claude Code, Cursor, etc.) - provide guidance, do's and don'ts, apply standards for effective maintenance and scaling.
• Infrastructure: Cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure), Docker, k8s.
• Frontend: React.

• At least 4 years of experience building complex SaaS systems at scale, including experience leading development teams.
• Python Rockstar: Someone who lives and breathes Python/TypeScript and AI based solutions; someone who knows how to take an idea and turn it into a working Production-grade architecture.
• Doer: Someone who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty with code, but also knows how to step back and look at the big picture.
• Crucial for us: We are looking for a long-term partner. If you are looking for a "temporary stop" or if you are a manager who only wants to manage—this won't be a fit.

Financial Model: Full partnership. A modest salary for the first 3 to 6 months, followed by a transition to a results-based salary (based on company performance).
