Network Engineer

The role-

• Lead cross-functional hardware and software projects to support the development and release of new products.
• Own the entire project lifecycle, from planning through execution and delivery.
• Manage board design planning, hardware development, and prototype builds (EVT, DVT, PVT) in collaboration with external manufacturers.
• Coordinate across multiple stakeholders, including R&D, QA, Project Management, and Product Management.
• Drive software release processes, infrastructure changes, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure smooth execution by meeting timelines, mitigating risks, and managing external vendors and suppliers.

Requirements-

• Deep knowledge of networking, including dynamic routing protocols and switching technologies – mandatory.
• Strong understanding of L2/L3 networking, including OSPF, BGP, and LDP – mandatory.
• Experience with RSVP, L3VPN, L2VPN, and Segment Routing – a significant advantage.
• 2+ years of experience as a QA Engineer in a complex R&D environment – an advantage.
• Coding experience in Python – an advantage.
• Experience working with Linux and Docker – an advantage.
• Strong self-learning capabilities.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
