Machine Learning Engineer

A stealth-mode startup aiming to transform cloud security by building a SaaS platform designed to protect modern cloud infrastructures.

The company focuses on delivering innovative solutions to the complex security challenges faced by today’s organizations, enabling secure operation across multi-cloud environments.

Based in Tel Aviv with train-line access, the company operates a hybrid work model (two days per week from home).

Employing dozens of people, the team is expected to grow significantly.

The company is well-funded and stable, having raised $11M in its first month, based solely on vision and concept.

The role-

• Act as the first AI-focused role in the company, operating as a sole owner within the development team.
• Take end-to-end responsibility for AI-driven product capabilities, from concept and design through production.
• Design and build AI features that enhance cloud security operations.
• Work extensively with AI, ML, LLMs, and AI Agents, including applied AI systems for security use cases.
• Build and productionize systems across multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).
• Develop retrieval-based systems, structured outputs, and tool-based agent workflows.
• Design agent orchestration, guardrails, policy generation, and drift detection mechanisms.
• Own workflow automation, evaluation frameworks, model quality metrics, feedback loops, and prompt/model iteration cycles.
• Deliver production-grade AI systems integrated with cloud APIs and security platforms.

Requirements-

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• At least 1 year of experience as an AI / ML Engineer.
• Strong hands-on cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP (at least one required).
• Proven experience in writing production-grade code.
• Excellent English proficiency, both written and spoken.
• University degree (B.Sc. or higher).
