Backend team leader

An Israeli R&D center of an international company, developing a defensive cybersecurity product for multi-disciplinary aerial defense.

Based in Tel Aviv (train-line access), the site employs over 100 people in Israel and operates a hybrid work model with one day per week from home.

Founded over a decade ago, the company develops an advanced counter-drone air defense system, with cyber technology at its core.

The solution enables organizations to protect their airspace, often described as an advanced “Iron Dome” for drones.

The role

• Lead a team of 5–6 software engineers.
• Maintain a hands-on technical role alongside management responsibilities.
• Report directly to a Group Manager.
• Drive technical execution, design decisions, and code quality.
• Develop in a stack based on C++, Linux, and microservices architecture.

Requirements-

• Experienced (and love) software development 5+ years
• Experience as a Team Leader- 3-5 years
• Scrum experience
• Experienced with C++ and Python
• Experience with Object Oriented Design
• Experienced working with Linux
• Strong technical knowledge and passion to learn more
