Data Engineer

A LegalTech startup that has developed an AI- and NLP-based platform designed to scan public online data sources in order to identify legal violations and regulatory breaches by large companies and corporations.

The company is based in Tel Aviv, with train-line access, operates a hybrid work model (two days per week from home), and employs approximately 165 people globally, including 120 in Israel.

The role-

• Join a team of four engineers, reporting to a Team Lead.
• Be part of the core team building the data platform from scratch.
• Take full ownership of the design, build, and scaling of a cloud-native data platform supporting AI and LLM solutions.
• Design, implement, and maintain data lakes and data warehouses.
• Develop complex data pipelines for batch and streaming workloads.
• Integrate AI / LLM workloads into production environments.
• Manage and optimize databases, including PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, vector databases, and graph databases.

Requirements-

• 7 years of experience as a Data Engineer – mandatory.
• Strong Python experience – mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with AWS – mandatory.
• Experience building and operating Data Lakes, including Databricks and/or Snowflake – mandatory.
• Experience with Apache Airflow – mandatory.
