Quality Assurance Engineer

An Israeli FinTech startup developing an AI and Big Data–based platform that maps the financial web to help governments and tax authorities uncover money laundering networks.

The platform extracts and correlates data from multiple online sources to identify tax evasion and financial fraud.

The company is based in Tel Aviv, with train-line access, offers one day per week from home, and employs approximately 80 people globally, including 65 in Israel.

Following a successful Series B funding round backed by leading investors, the company is expected to double in size over the next year.

The role

• Join a newly forming QA team, reporting to a Team Lead (currently hiring for two positions).
• Take full ownership of test coverage and product quality.
• Perform manual testing across Web and on-premise systems.
• Execute exploratory, integration, functional, and regression testing.
• Test backend services and APIs, including integration testing.
• Analyze logs and troubleshoot complex system behavior.
• Test in Docker and Kubernetes environments.
• Use tools such as Jira, TestRail, Postman, and Browser DevTools.
• Work in AWS and Linux environments.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in manual testing for web applications – mandatory.
• Linux experience – mandatory.
• Proven experience with end-to-end (E2E) client/server testing – mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes – mandatory.
• Experience working in cloud environments – mandatory.
• Experience with QA tools, including Jira, TestRail, Postman, and Browser DevTools (at least one required).
• Experience working in startup environments and with complex systems.
