CTO – Hands-on | Automation & Data Platforms

We are seeking a hands-on CTO to lead the establishment of a new technology division within a publicly traded real estate and construction group.

This is a founding role for a deeply technical leader who thrives in building systems from the ground up, staying close to the code, and solving complex technological challenges in real-world, data-intensive environments.

• Full ownership of technology selection, system architecture, and initial team building
• Hands-on design and development of automation-heavy, high-scale systems
• Building products that combine automation, AI, and advanced data analytics
• Working in a unique “Design Partner” environment with access to real transactional and on-site execution data
• Leading development end-to-end — from architecture and core logic to production stability

• Strong hands-on experience designing distributed, high-performance systems
• Proven ability to build scale-out infrastructures handling high load and parallel processes
• Deep experience with Web Automation & Reverse Engineering
• Practical expertise in Playwright / Puppeteer for complex scraping and automation flows
• Experience with WebSockets, network traffic analysis, and modern web protocols
• Ability to integrate with legacy or closed systems and solve non-trivial technical constraints
• A builder mindset — comfortable working in lean teams, taking ownership, and staying close to implementation
