Java Software Engineer

A Cloud Security startup developing a platform designed to secure cloud infrastructures by leveraging operational data typically owned by DevOps and Operations teams, and making it accessible and contextualized for Security teams.

This data-driven approach enables organizations to protect their cloud environments more effectively while reducing unnecessary security alerts through a single unified interface.

Employing several hundred people in Israel, the company is based in central Israel with train-line access and operates a hybrid work model with two days per week from home.

The company has raised a significant funding round from leading global security investors.

The role

• Develop server-side components using Java.
• Build and maintain microservices-based architectures.
• Work across multiple cloud environments.
• Design and operate CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to large-scale, cloud-native security systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/Software Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of experience with Backend Engineering in a high-level programming language
• Experience with cloud platforms and products (e.g. AWS, GCP and Azure)
• Experience implementing data-intensive systems (message queue technologies)
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD)
• Experience with microservices based architecture
