UI/UX Platform Designer

We’re looking for a UI/UX Platform Designer to help shape the user experience of our AI-driven MDR (Managed Detection & Response) platform - a product used daily by security analysts making high-stakes, real-time decisions.

This is a unique opportunity to design interfaces where clarity, trust, and speed truly matter. You’ll work closely with engineering to create clean, scalable UI patterns that support explainable AI (XAI), reduce analyst fatigue, and enable confident incident response in a 24/7 security environment.

What you’ll do

• Own and improve the end-to-end UI/UX of a mission-critical security platform
• Design reusable UI patterns and components as part of a scalable design system
• Partner closely with engineers to ensure high-quality implementation
• Design experiences that support explainability, transparency, and analyst decision-making
• Build UX patterns for predictive and anticipatory workflows
• Balance automation with human control in high-risk environments
• Ensure accessibility, usability, and consistency across browsers and devices
• Visualize complex security data (e.g. MITRE ATT&CK, detections, timelines, investigations) clearly and intuitively

What we’re looking for

• 4+ years of hands-on experience designing UI/UX for modern web platforms
• University or college degree in UX/UI Design, Interaction Design, Visual Communication, HCI, or a related field
• Strong understanding of usability, accessibility, and interaction design principles
• Experience working closely with product and engineering teams
• Familiarity with component-based UI architecture and design systems
• Ability to translate complex technical or security concepts into simple, usable interfaces

Nice to have

• Experience with Vue.js
• Experience with design systems and UI libraries
• Proficiency with tools like Figma
• Background designing for security, SOC, or incident response workflows
• Familiarity with Security-by-Design principles and MDR reporting
