Core Responsibilities

• Threat Intelligence & Analysis: Lead deep-dive security analysis to identify behavioral patterns and threat insights within massive event datasets.
• Behavioral Insights: Analyze user and customer behavior to provide Product and CS teams with actionable risk signals and usage trends.
• Strategic Reporting: Produce executive-level insights and decision-support models that directly influence the company’s product roadmap.
• Data Storytelling: Translate complex, "messy" data into clear, compelling narratives for stakeholders and leadership.
• Data Modeling: Design and maintain robust SQL-based models and datasets to support evolving analytical needs.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with Security Research, Product, and CS to uncover new analytic opportunities.
• Standardization: Define and scale analytics standards, metrics, and dashboards across the organization.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, specialized analysis, or a similar high-impact role.
• SQL Mastery: Deep proficiency in SQL with a track record of building scalable data models.
• Python for Data: Strong foundation in Python for advanced data processing and analysis.
• Security Expertise: Hands-on experience in cybersecurity analytics, threat investigation, or security event analysis.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to transform intricate datasets into clear strategic recommendations.
• Velocity: Experience thriving in fast-paced, product-centric startup environments.
• Communication: Exceptional ability to translate technical findings into business insights for non-technical partners.
