We are looking for a dedicated Implementation Engineer to lead and own customer deployments from end-to-end. In this role, you will be the technical face of the company, working directly with enterprise clients to configure, customize, and operationalize our platform. You will serve as the critical technical bridge between the customer and our internal teams (Support, R&D, and Product) to ensure a flawless rollout and long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
- Deployment Ownership: Manage the full customer lifecycle from initial kickoff through production rollout and steady-state maintenance.
- System Customization: Configure and adapt the platform to align with specific customer environments and requirements.
- Policy Design: Define and implement security policies tailored to the customer’s unique risk posture and use cases.
- Technical Integration: Partner with customer IT, Security, and Networking teams to design and execute deployment plans.
- Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot complex deployment hurdles and coordinate solutions with internal R&D and Support squads.
- Customer Enablement: Provide technical guidance and best practices to customer administrators to ensure high adoption.
- Process Improvement: Document configurations and lessons learned to enhance the scalability of our deployment processes.
- Feedback Loop: Contribute direct customer insights to Product and Engineering teams to improve tooling and documentation.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in Implementation, Professional Services, or Solutions Engineering roles.
- Technical Background: Solid experience in Networking or Cybersecurity domains (e.g., Firewalls, Proxies, Identity, or Endpoint Security).
- Field Experience: Hands-on experience deploying security products within complex enterprise environments.
- Network Proficiency: Strong understanding of traffic flows, network architectures, and security policy design.
- Crisis Management: Exceptional troubleshooting skills and the ability to remain calm and effective under pressure during "go-live" events.
- Client Facing: Proven ability to manage relationships and lead technical discussions with enterprise stakeholders.
- Communication: Excellent ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Comfortable working alongside Support, Product, and R&D teams.
Bonus Points (Nice to Have)
- Familiarity with SASE/SSE architectures, Browser Security, DLP, or CASB.
- Knowledge of authentication protocols (SAML, SSO), Identity Providers, and MDM systems (Intune, JAMF, GPO).
