Maintenance Associate

Pi-Cardia, a dynamic medical device startup specializing in cardiovascular innovations, is looking for a Maintenance Associate to join our team. This position is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and calibration of all company equipment, jigs, tools, and facilities to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. The role includes managing the annual maintenance and calibration plan, coordinating repairs across HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems and serving as the company’s focal point for facility operations and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for maintenance and calibration of manufacturing, QC, and R&D equipment, jigs, and tools.
• Preparing and monitoring an annual maintenance plan and defining required maintenance actions for the company’s equipment, jigs, and tools.
• Overall responsibility for company facilities repairs on various systems, including HVAC, electrical, and mechanical; diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures promptly.
• Work closely with other departments to identify maintenance needs and prioritize
• Assist in training staff on safety practices related to equipment use.
• Act as a first responder for facility-related emergencies, coordinating with external vendors when necessary.
• Overall responsibility for safety in the company.

Requirements:

• High technical ability with a hands-on approach
• Experience in the medical device or healthcare industry - A Plus
• Problem-solving, and creative thinking
• Ability to read and understand technical/mechanical drawings
• Proficiency in English (reading/writing)
• Solid communication and teamwork skills
• Multi-tasking and handling rapid changes
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Practical Engineer/BSC in Engineering
