ETL Developer - 5516

Responsibilities

• Design, development, and implementation of ETL/ELT processes in Informatica (pipelines, workflows, mappings).
• Analysis of business and technical requirements, definition of data integration solutions, and design of data flows.
• Close collaboration with DBAs, Data Analysts, BI Developers, and Product Managers to define data models and data requirements.
• Performance optimization including query optimization, partitioning and parallelism, job tuning, and workload management.
• Troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis, monitoring, and production support.
• Ensuring data quality, log management, validations, documentation, and data lineage in accordance with organizational standards.
• Working in CI/CD and version control environments (e.g., Git) and applying development best practices.

Mandatory Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in ETL development within DWH/BI environments.
• Proven hands-on experience with Informatica (PowerCenter and/or IICS, depending on the environment).
• Strong SQL skills with experience working with relational databases (commonly Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
• Deep understanding of DWH concepts including data models, fact and dimension tables, SCD, and incremental loading.
• Experience working with diverse source systems (APIs, files, databases), including common file formats such as CSV, JSON, and XML.
• Ability to work independently, high level of personal accountability, and excellent interpersonal communication skills across multiple interfaces.

Significant Advantage

• Experience with Informatica IICS and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with scheduling and orchestration tools such as Control-M or Airflow.
• Experience in PL/SQL or T-SQL development, stored procedures, and advanced performance tuning.
• Familiarity with Data Governance frameworks, data catalogs, and data quality standards.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum methodologies.
