Embedded QA Engineer (Manual Testing)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual software testing for Embedded / Real-Time systems
• Execute functional, integration, system, and regression tests
• Review system and software requirements and derive test scenarios accordingly
• Write and maintain test documentation: STP, STD, STR, Test Cases, Test Reports
• Conduct hands-on testing in lab environments
• Analyze failures, perform root cause analysis, and closely support debugging activities
• Work with embedded hardware and lab equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, debuggers, etc.)
• Test low-level software and hardware-software interfaces
• Validate communication interfaces and protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet)
• Participate in integration phases, system bring-up, and validation processes

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field – mandatory
• 5+ years of experience in manual testing of Embedded / Real-Time systems – mandatory
• Proven experience writing formal test documentation (STP / STD / STR) – mandatory
• Strong understanding of embedded systems and HW-SW interaction
• Experience working in Linux-based embedded environments – advantage
• Experience with communication protocols and low-level testing – advantage
• Experience in defense, aerospace, or safety-critical systems – strong advantage
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and system-level thinking
• Ability to work independently in complex, multidisciplinary environments
• Eligibility for security clearance
