DBA Team Leader

Eternity is hiring a DBA Team Leader to lead and manage a DBA team in a hybrid role based in Tel Aviv.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a DBA team: task allocation, prioritization, mentoring, and professional development.
• Database architecture design and leadership of database-related projects.
• Installation, upgrades, maintenance, and performance tuning of relational and NoSQL databases (SQL Server, Oracle, Couchbase).
• Ownership of backup, DR, HA, security, and performance monitoring.
• Collaboration with vendors, development teams, and project managers.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as an Infrastructure/Application DBA.
• 2–3+ years of DBA team leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server (Oracle – advantage).
• Experience with Couchbase or MongoDB – significant advantage.
• Cloud experience (Azure/AWS) – advantage.
• Strong SQL and performance optimization skills.
• Knowledge of DR, HA, AlwaysOn, and clustering.
• Leadership skills, business-oriented mindset, and high service awareness.
• Availability for non-standard hours.
