About the Role

As a Budget & Cost Control Analyst at Plasan, you will be at the heart of the company’s financial engine, serving as a strategic partner across the organization and its subsidiaries.

The role combines budgeting, project control, and business analysis, translating numbers into insights that matter.

By providing accurate and timely financial data at the project, program, and divisional levels, you will enable managers to make confident, data-driven decisions in a complex, fast-moving environment.

The role combines project cost control with FP&A-type analysis in a complex, regulated, industrial environment.

Primary Stakeholders

• Division Managers
• Program Managers
• Department Managers (Production Planning, Procurement, Logistics)
• Finance teams: Cost Model, Accounting, Sales

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare budgets and perform budget control by project, program, and division
• Conduct financial analyses, business cases, and feasibility reviews as required
• Perform costing based on product structures (BOM) or cost models
• Prepare project-level P&L reports and Estimate at Completion (EAC)
• Calculate rates subject to audit requirements
• Work closely with subsidiaries
• Coordinate and control processes with Sales Forecasting, Costing (Cost Model), and Accounting teams

Education & Knowledge

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics & Business Administration or Industrial Engineering & Management - a must
• Relevant Master’s degree – an advantage
• Advanced Excel skills (Power Query / Pivot – an advantage)
• Strong process leadership capabilities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• High analytical and data processing abilities
• Ability to work in an intensive, fast-paced environment
• High-level English proficiency

Experience Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in budgeting and project cost control with both operational and financial perspectives
• Strong understanding of financial statements and costing methodologies
• Familiarity with manufacturing, engineering, and project management processes – an advantage
• Experience working with ERP systems (Oracle – an advantage)
• Ability to work on-site 5 days a week at Kibbutz Sasa, located in the Upper North, with no hybrid work option.
