Digital QA Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Digital QA Engineer to join the Digital division of one of the leading and most stable insurance companies in Israel.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a large-scale, dynamic digital environment, involving multiple applications, diverse technologies, and internal and external interfaces, while taking part in end-to-end quality processes for customer-facing digital products.

What You'll Do:

You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of digital products through a combination of manual and automated end-to-end testing.

The role includes working closely with development, product, and UX teams, understanding business and technical requirements, writing test plans and test cases, executing tests for Web and Mobile systems, performing API and database validations, managing defects, and taking ownership of the testing process from requirement analysis through production readiness.

This role requires independence, strong QA methodology, and the ability to lead testing processes in a complex digital environment.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of hands-on experience in manual and automation software testing- Must
• Experience testing services, interfaces, and digital processes for Web and Mobile systems- Must
• Experience with Java- Must
• Experience working with automation tools such as Selenium- Must
• Experience with API testing (e.g., Postman)- Must
• Experience writing advanced SQL queries- Must
• Experience working with requirement documents and writing test documentation (STP / STD / STR) – Must
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA / TFS / QC)- Must
• Understanding of UI/UX requirements and user flows- Must
• Experience working with Playwright- Advantage
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter- Advantage
• Experience setting up automation and monitoring environments- Advantage
• Experience working in multi-system, multi-application environments- Advantage

Experience working in cloud environments (AWS / Azure / GCP)- Advantage
