We are looking for a highly skilled Computer Vision Algorithms Engineer to join a research-driven team focused on advanced sensing technologies. for a fulltime position. You will work on cutting-edge problems involving multispectral imagery and soon other non-standard imaging modalities. The team includes strong researchers with physics and engineering backgrounds — we are looking for an experienced computer vision expert to complement and lead the algorithmic vision side.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement computer vision and image processing algorithms for advanced sensing systems
- Work with RGB and non-RGB data (multispectral, thermal, low-light, or similar modalities)
- Translate research ideas into robust, production-ready algorithms
- Collaborate closely with researchers, engineers, and system designers
- Explore novel approaches and contribute creatively to new solutions in a research-heavy environment
- Take ownership of complex algorithmic problems from concept to deployment
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in computer vision or related algorithmic roles
- Strong proficiency in Python and common computer vision / scientific libraries (e.g., OpenCV, NumPy, SciPy, scikit-image, PyTorch / TensorFlow — depending on background)
- Solid understanding of computer vision fundamentals (geometry, filtering, feature extraction, learning-based methods, etc.)
- M.Sc. or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a closely related field
- Ability to work independently, think creatively, and solve open-ended research problems
- Strong communication skills and comfort working in a multidisciplinary team
- Availability and commitment to a full-time position
Advantage
- Experience with multispectral / hyperspectral / thermal imaging
- Background in research-oriented or exploratory R&D teams
- Familiarity with deploying algorithms into real systems (performance, robustness, edge cases)
