Cleanroom Operations & R&D Technician

CorNeat Vision is an innovative medical device company based in Ra’anana, specializing in the development of implantable ophthalmic solutions.

We are seeking an experienced Cleanroom & R&D Technician to support the design and development of implantable medical devices. The role combines hands-on cleanroom operations, process development, and prototype fabrication with rigorous adherence to ISO and GMP standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate, assemble, inspect and document activities within ISO-classified cleanrooms, following strict gowning, hygiene, and detailed work instruction. 

• Perform maintenance and calibration of cleanroom equipment and ensure environmental compliance (particle counts, humidity, temperature, pressure). 

• Manage inventory of consumables, gowning materials, and cleanroom supplies. 

• Strictly follow and comply with defined documentation protocols as part of routine work, batch release activities, and execution of approved experimental protocols. 

• Collaborate with QA, R&D, and engineering teams to ensure process quality and support product innovation. 

• Train employees on cleanroom procedures, process protocols, and laboratory techniques.

Qualifications

·      Solid knowledge and experience with GMP, ISO 13485, and regulated medical device environments.

·      Proven experience working in ISO-classified cleanrooms within medical device or biotechnology industries.

·      Proficiency with microscopy, lab equipment, and advanced lab techniques. 

·      High level of organizational skills, attention to detail,

·      A team player and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

·      Strong documentation discipline and understanding of controlled documentation systems.

·      English proficiency - ability to read, write, and understand technical documentation such as SOPs, work instructions, manuals, and test reports.
