Payroll Manager

We are an established global high-tech company experiencing significant growth.

We are looking for an experienced and brilliant payroll Manager to lead our local operations, with an emphasis on quality, control, and process improvement in a dynamic environment.

The role involves full end-to-end responsibility for the payroll lifecycle for the company’s employees in Israel. Beyond day to day operations, we are looking for a proactive "out of the box" thinker with analytical capabilities who can optimize systems, upgrade procedures, and provide professional, accurate solutions to complex challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Payroll Management: Full responsibility for onboarding, terminations, salary updates, reserve duty (Miluim), maternity leave, and reporting to pension and study funds.
• Financial Reporting: Responsibility for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings, including reconciliations with the accounting department and periodic data analysis.
• Compliance and Control: Ensuring full compliance with Israeli labor laws, tax regulations, and monthly/annual reporting to authorities.
• Process Optimization: Identifying pain points in existing workflows, writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and implementing technological solutions to improve efficiency.
• Global Interfaces: Working closely with Finance, IT, and HR departments locally and abroad to synchronize systems and services.
• Audit Support: Coordinating and managing the relationship with external auditors regarding payroll matters.

Job Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in independent payroll management in mid-sized tech companies (100+ employees) with an emphasis on multinational corporations.
• Certified Payroll Accountant.
• Full proficiency in Shiklulit.
• Deep mastery of Israeli labor laws and payroll taxation.
• Excellent command of Excel and Google Suite applications.
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Consistently demonstrates attention to detail, ensuring a high level of accuracy
• Exceptional precision, ability to work under pressure, critical thinking, and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience working with the NetSuite system- Advantage.
• Background or experience in Accounts Payable management- Advantage.
