Pedagogical Coordinator

The Game Development and Design Department at Tiltan College is seeking a Pedagogical Coordinator to join a colorful and dynamic workspace. The department has experienced significant growth in recent years and currently includes approximately 40 faculty members and 150 students. Our vision is to continue expanding the department, refine the curriculum, and enhance the student experience.

As the Pedagogical Coordinator of the Game Development and Design Department at Tiltan College, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of each of our students and push them to become better professionals.

In this role, you will work closely with the Director of the Department and serve as their right hand in all aspects of the department’s day-to-day management. At the same time, you are encouraged—and expected—to initiate new workflows as part of the department’s commitment to continuous improvement.

Position scope: Full-time

Hybrid work: One day per week from home

• Ongoing administrative management of students, including disciplinary committees, eligibility/placement committees, special requests, and similar matters
• Pedagogical coordination of the department’s curriculum and courses, including scheduling, course and instructor assignments, semester openings, and academic year launches
• Continuous communication and coordination with faculty members
• Pedagogical oversight of the academic content delivered at the college
• Participation in and leadership (on behalf of the department) of graduation events and hackathons

• Direct reporting to the Head of the Department and the pedagogical management
• At least 2 years of experience in academic teaching
• Technical requirements: Full proficiency in Excel and word processing software, and proficiency in or willingness to learn a task management tool (e.g., Trello)
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to present and speak in front of an audience
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Availability to work evening hours at certain times (evening studies)
• Advantage: Familiarity with the Orbit academic management system
• Advantage: Familiarity with the game industry
