Senior Backend Developer (Python) New Technology Division of KATA-GROUP – Building a Global Product

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer for hands-on production work, with full responsibility for logic, state, and system integrity. The role focuses on building an event-driven backend system, handling unstructured data and complex operational flows.

Responsibilities: * Production-grade Python backend development (not POC) * Working with event-driven systems and persistent state * Managing sessions, event ordering, idempotency, and deduplication * Building operational flows from unstructured data such as free text, emails, and messages * Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and the ability to provide system explainability * Working with a Node.js layer for WhatsApp integration including protocols and sessions

Requirements: * 6+ years of experience in Backend development * Strong Python skills with an emphasis on Production and Event-Driven architecture * Hands-on experience with Databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis * Deep understanding of persistent state, idempotency, ordering, and failure handling * Ability to work independently and take full ownership of a live system

Significant Advantages: * Experience with entity modeling and long-term relationships * Working with Graphs at the data model or GraphDB level * Experience with GraphRAG or Explainable AI * Working with unstructured data including NLP and free text * Integration with WhatsApp or Email systems * Experience with OCR and documents such as invoices and certificates
