We are looking for an experienced Communication Algorithms Engineer to join a team developing cutting-edge 5G modem technologies and products.
In this role, you will:
• Be deeply involved in the research, definition, and implementation of advanced 5G algorithms and system solutions
• Develop a full 5G modem including 5G algorithms, 5G software stack, and hardware modules
• Work closely with VLSI and software teams in a multidisciplinary environment
• Apply deep understanding of cellular communication standards and their impact on modem and system design
• Lead system and algorithmic research while considering DSP, software, and hardware trade-offs
• Balance performance, real-time constraints, implementation cost, and time-to-market
• Own system definitions, requirements, and implementation from research and simulation through official release
• Perform modeling and analysis using MATLAB, C, C++, and SystemC
Requirements:
• B.Sc degree in Communication Theory and Systems, Electrical Engineering, or Signal Processing
• At least 10 years of experience in wireless communication development and modem algorithm/system definition
• Strong background in digital signal processing with hands-on MATLAB, C, and embedded implementation experience
• Independent problem solver with strong system-level understanding
• High motivation to learn and grow professionally in wireless communications and system engineering
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a global, multi-site environment
• Proven modem design experience
Advantages:
• M.Sc or Ph.D in Communication Theory and Systems and/or Signal Processing
• Hands-on experience with 4G or 5G NR standards
