Director of Data Science

Work with high autonomy and executive visibility to shape how Data Science drives player experience, product innovation, and company growth. Be part of a central team defining how AI, ML, and GenAI are applied across all games and business functions. We are looking for a Director of Data Science to lead Data Science across the entire company. This role is responsible for setting the vision, strategy, and standards for Data Science, while ensuring close alignment with business objectives and product priorities.

The Director of Data Science is a senior leader who combines deep technical expertise with strong people leadership. You will further develop and scale a high-performing Data Science organization, guide critical technical decisions, and act as a trusted partner to executive and cross-functional stakeholders.

This is not an individual contributor role. The Director of Data Science is accountable for organizational outcomes rather than personal delivery. Success is measured by the strength of the Data Science team, the clarity of strategic direction, and the business impact achieved across the company.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Set the company-wide vision, strategy, and roadmap for Data Science, ensuring clear alignment with business goals and measurable impact.
• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing Data Science team, including hiring, performance management, and career development.
• Define and enforce best practices for experimentation, causal inference, forecasting, ML, and GenAI development across teams.
• Partner closely with senior leaders in product, engineering, marketing, and game studios to identify and prioritize high-impact initiatives.
• Own the outcomes of Data Science initiatives across the organization, tracking success metrics and continuously improving effectiveness.
• Lead the Data Science function’s contribution to AI and GenAI strategy, including evaluation, adoption, and responsible deployment.
• Elevate data literacy and data-driven decision-making across the company through enablement, tooling, and education.
  
  

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, Statistics, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in Data Science or Machine Learning roles, including leadership of teams and large cross-functional initiatives.
• Deep understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, experimentation, and causal inference.
• Experience guiding production ML systems, data pipelines, and MLOps practices at scale.
• Proven ability to hire, develop, and retain high-performing Data Science talent.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence executive-level decision-making.
• Experience in gaming, mobile apps, or consumer digital products is a strong plus
  
  

This is a hybrid role based in our Tel Aviv office, with three on-site workdays per week.
