Senior Backend Engineer - Onsite

We are looking for an exceptional Backend Engineer & Researcher to join our founding team. This isn't a "standard" development role. You will be responsible for the core engine of our platform, tackling complex challenges in Concurrency, Data Scale, and GenAI integration. As an early-stage hire in a lean team, you will own features End-to-End—from researching the attack vector to deploying the production-grade service. You will have a direct impact on our architecture, our product direction, and our company culture.

What You’ll Do

• Architect & Build: Design and implement high-performance, scalable microservices in Go (or C++/Rust) to support complex attack simulations and real-time data processing.
• GenAI Implementation: Work with LLMs and GenAI models to automate social engineering simulations. You’ll handle Alignment, Grounding, and content filtering to ensure safe and effective delivery to end-users.
• Research-Driven Development: Investigate new attack surfaces and translate research findings into robust, automated features within the platform.
• Scale & Concurrency: Handle high-throughput data and complex concurrent processes within an AWS cloud environment.
• Own the Product: Take full responsibility for the lifecycle of your code—from the initial "vague" problem statement to a polished, customer-ready solution.

Requirements

• Experience: 6+ years of experience in Backend Development. You are a "Developer at heart" with a strong "Researcher’s mind."
• Tech Stack Mastery: Deep expertise in Go, Python, C++, or Rust. You should be comfortable moving between languages to solve the problem at hand.
• High-Scale Systems: Proven experience with Microservices, AWS, and building systems that handle high concurrency and large data volumes.
• Startup DNA: You thrive in a Seed-stage environment. You are comfortable with ambiguity, move fast, and don't wait for a "spec" to start building.
• Analytical Mindset: You love solving "impossible" problems and have a natural curiosity for how systems (and people) can be exploited and protected.
• Independent & Lean: Ability to work in a very small, high-caliber team where your individual decisions directly shape the product.

Bonus Points

• Practical experience with LLMs/GenAI (LangChain, vector databases, prompt engineering).
• Background in Cybersecurity research (Offensive or Defensive).
• Experience with Voice/Agentic AI technologies.
