Warhead and Explosives Design Engineer

Warhead and Explosives Design Engineer | Yehud, Israel | IAI

We are seeking a skilled engineer to join our Missile and Space Systems Division, focusing on the design and development of warheads and explosives.

The position includes:

• Designing and developing various types of warheads for all IAI products

• Performing rocket performance calculations

• Preparing manufacturing and assembly drawings

• Writing technical specifications

• Developing test plans

• Supporting field tests

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerodynamics – required

• Master’s degree – advantage

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in warhead or explosives design – required

• Experience with CAD software – required

• Experience with rocket performance calculations – advantage

• Experience with analysis and simulations – advantage

• Project management experience – advantage

• High proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing)

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team, with initiative, independence, and strong interpersonal skills
