Software Engineer

An early-stage AI startup developing an AI Agent designed to execute and simplify Data Science tasks in an intuitive and efficient way essentially a “Cursor for Data. The product enables users to perform data analysis and analytics without writing code, leveraging AI-driven workflows.

Based in Tel Aviv, near the light rail, and operates a hybrid work model (two days per week from home).

The company has completed a successful Seed funding round, backed by top-tier investors.

The role-

• Work closely with the company’s founders on a high-impact role.
• Take part in defining product strategy and system architecture.
• Build core product capabilities in a fast-growing early-stage environment with strong growth potential.
• Develop primarily using Node.js and Python (~90% backend), with some React development (~10% frontend).
• Contribute across DevOps and Data infrastructure, including Airflow, Kubernetes, data pipelines, and MLflow.
• Help shape a scalable AI-driven platform from the ground up.

Requirements

• 6 years of backend development experience – Python or Node.js (preference for 10+ years).
• Strong expertise in at least one of: Python or Node.js – mandatory.
• Experience with React – a significant advantage.
• Background in DevOps and/or Data roles – a significant advantage.
• Previous experience as a CTO, Core Engineer, Staff Engineer, or Founding Engineer – a strong advantage.
