Inviting applications for the role of Data Engineer, R&D

We are looking for a Data Engineer to build enterprise‑grade data solutions, focusing on the Microsoft AI stack and C#.

The ideal candidate brings software engineering expertise and data-domain specialization.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and improve production-grade data services and pipelines.
• Turn data needs into clear interfaces, contracts, and processing rules that downstream users can trust.
• Deliver in the presence of uncertainty (schema evolution, incomplete inputs, fluctuating load).
• Design for scalability and predictable performance; identify and remove bottlenecks early.
• Use resources efficiently and avoid wasteful patterns.
• Separate stable core behavior from configuration and deployment/runtime concerns.
• Build in observability (structured logging, correlation IDs, health signals) so issues are diagnosable.
• Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment and contribute to engineering standards and practices.

Qualifications we seek in you

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a focus on data processing and integration.
• Strong understanding of data quality, data lifecycle, and how different users consume data.
• Track record delivering stable, scalable services that are low touch to operate.
• Strong programming skills.
• Experience with event-driven processing and cloud-native patterns.
• Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Experience with resilience practices (timeouts, retries, idempotency) and observability.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
