Senior System Engineer

Senior Systems Engineer – ELINT Systems | Ashdod, Israel | IAI

Elta Systems is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for ELINT systems to lead and manage the engineering of advanced electronic intelligence solutions.

The position includes:

• Leading all aspects of processing and fusion centers within the department from defining future product lines to implementing development plans and guiding engineering processes

• Analyzing customer requirements and operational needs, defining system specifications, interfaces, and coordinating with various technological teams throughout development

• Working directly with customers, performing system integration during development and delivery, including international travel several times a year

• Leading algorithm development and collaborating with intelligence processing and fusion centers

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering – required

• Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Science – advantage

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in system engineering or as a lead product manager – required

• Background in intelligence systems such as ELINT/COMINT – required

• Experience in algorithm development – required

• Experience in CTO roles – advantage

• Graduates of elite technological units in engineering or operator roles – advantage

• High proficiency in English – writing, reading, and speaking

• Willingness to work additional hours when needed

• Willingness to travel abroad 3-4 times per year

• Leadership skills, intellectual flexibility, organization, strong self-learning ability, and excellent interpersonal skills
