System Engineering Lead | Deep-Tech Startup

To a fast-growing Deep-Tech startup, we are looking for a Senior System Engineering Lead to take a central, hands-on, cross-disciplinary role in a cutting-edge technological environment.

This role involves end-to-end system ownership, working closely with Algorithms, Software, Embedded Software, Hardware, and R&D teams, and leading system architecture, integration, and experimental activities.

🔸 Lead System Engineering activities for complex hardware-software systems and systems of systems

🔸 Act as the technical focal point between Algorithms, Software, Embedded, and Hardware teams

🔸 Define system architecture, requirements, and interfaces

🔸 Lead system integration, testing, and experimental campaigns

🔸 Drive system-level decision making, including technical trade-offs, risk mitigation, and performance optimization

🔸 Support rapid learning and adaptation to new technological domains in a dynamic R&D environment

🔸 15+ years of experience in System Engineering of complex HW-SW systems

🔸 10+ years of hands-on experience in sensor systems and/or RF systems development

🔸 M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or Physics

🔸 Strong ability to quickly learn new domains and technologies

🔸 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven experience working across multidisciplinary R&D teams
