VP R&D

About

We are looking for a hands-on VP R&D to lead our engineering organization and actively shape the core technology of our AI-driven platform. This role is for a technical leader who combines strategic vision with deep involvement in architecture, design, and critical development decisions. Success means building scalable cloud systems, leading strong engineering teams, and delivering high-quality AI products to production.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage R&D teams while remaining deeply involved in architecture and technical design
• Define and execute the R&D roadmap together with product and executive leadership
• Design, review, and guide development of the systems.
• Lead hands-on architecture of AI/ML components in production environments
• Own cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes-based deployment architecture
• Drive system scalability, reliability, performance, and security
• Perform design reviews, code reviews, and mentor senior engineers
• Work closely with Product, Data, and DevOps on end-to-end delivery

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a hands-on engineering leader (VP R&D / Director of Engineering)
• Strong hands-on background in C# /.NET and backend architecture
• Solid experience with Node.js and modern backend frameworks
• Strong understanding of frontend architectures using React and/or Angular
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Practical experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration in production
• Experience building and operating scalable distributed systems
• Experience with AI / Machine Learning systems – strong advantage
• Strong leadership, communication, and technical decision-making skills
• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
