Machine Learning Engineer

We are seeking a Senior ML Engineer to join our core AI development group, focused on building enterprise-grade intelligent systems. This role bridges the gap between high-performance backend engineering and the practical implementation of LLM-driven architectures. You will design, develop, and take full ownership of production systems that leverage Large Language Models, advanced embedding techniques, and multi-agent workflows—ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and highly monitored across cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• System Design: Architect and develop scalable backend services tailored for Generative AI and autonomous agent frameworks.
• Data Pipelines: Build production-ready retrieval and embedding pipelines, integrating vector databases with cutting-edge LLMs.
• Microservices Excellence: Implement high-performance, secure, and monitored microservices within a Kubernetes-native ecosystem.
• AI Operationalization: Partner closely with Research and Data Science teams to transform experimental LLM features into robust production tools.
• Optimization: Fine-tune system performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency for large-scale, distributed AI workloads.
• Engineering Standards: Uphold rigorous code quality, extensive test coverage, and modern CI/CD practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in backend or ML engineering within production-grade environments.
• Core Languages: Expert proficiency in Python with a deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and concurrency.
• Distributed Systems: Proven track record of building large-scale cloud-native architectures.
• Infrastructure & DevOps: Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and automated deployment pipelines.
• LLM Frameworks: Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, or equivalent orchestration libraries.
• AI Integration: Practical experience integrating models from major providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) or open-source alternatives.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, a strong sense of ownership, and the ability to thrive in a high-velocity startup setting.
