✨ Electronics & Hardware Engineer – Lead Development for Space Systems ✨

We’re looking for an experienced Electronics & Hardware Engineer to take a leading role in defining, designing, integrating, and supporting electrical interfaces and control systems for on‑orbit servicing missions. This position combines hands-on engineering, technical leadership, and management of subcontractors delivering space‑grade electronic designs.

🔧 What will you be doing?

• Leading end‑to‑end design and definition of electrical interfaces and integrations for spacecraft payloads, including onboard computers, sensors (such as LiDAR and cameras), power electronics, and mechanisms.
• Designing and producing electronic control and power PCBs for mission payloads.
• Supporting development and integration of robust space‑grade electrical and communication interfaces: SpaceWire, CAN, Ethernet, RS‑422, UART, LVDS.
• Developing, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining dedicated control units for mechanisms such as docking arms, thrust mechanisms, and robotic arms.
• Providing technical leadership: task planning, prioritization, design reviews, mentoring, and cross‑disciplinary coordination.
• Managing subcontractors for electrical/electronic circuit development:
• Defining technical requirements & SOWs
• Reviewing schematics, boards, test plans, and results
• Tracking progress, risks, quality, and acceptance criteria
• Close collaboration with Systems, Software, Mechanical, Integration & Test, and Project Management teams to ensure successful delivery and verification.
• Managing an additional engineer within the team.

🎯 What do you need to bring?

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering – mandatory.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in electronics design, avionics interfaces, integration, and/or embedded control systems.
• Strong hands-on laboratory skills (operation, debugging) and proven technical leadership with teams and suppliers.
• Excellent communication skills in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
