Corporate Controller

KAHR Bio is a global, clinical-stage biotech company developing innovative therapeutics to treat cancer and is looking for a Controller to play a key role in leading our financial operations and supporting the company’s growth. We recently raised $22mm in a Series B financing, and are supported by a diverse set of biotech investors from Israel, Europe, and North America.

The role includes:

Preparation and responsibility for the Financial Statements in accordance with US GAAP | Oversee local statutory reporting and compliance in Israel and Australia, including coordination with local accountants, auditors, and advisors | Manage external audits, including preparation of audit materials and serving as the primary point of contact for auditors |Full responsibility for external accounting and payroll teams in Israel and Australia | Ownership of the AP processes| Ongoing work with the company’s global business operations | Ownership of cash flow management including oversight of the company’s bank accounts | Initiate and execute processes improvements and automations

What you must bring:

Significant experience as a Controller in a global technology-driven company | Excellent English – written, spoken and used daily | Familiarity with US GAAP or IFRS | Advanced Excel skills | Background from one of the big accounting firms | Strong orientation to financial systems & automation | Business-minded, interested in how numbers connect to product development and business processes | Attention to details, hands-on mind-set and a can-do approach
