✈️ Occasional travel abroad (1–2 times per year)

A leading international company developing advanced electro-optical systems for military and civilian applications in Israel and worldwide.

The company specializes in R&D and serial production of complex, high-reliability systems, operating in a multidisciplinary environment that integrates hardware, software, mechanics, and optics, under the highest engineering and quality standards.

We are looking for a Senior Hardware Engineer – Board Design with at least 10 years of hands-on experience, to lead the design and development of electronic boards from concept through serial production.

This is a fully hands-on, independent role, involving close collaboration with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and subcontractors, working on advanced military systems (land, sea, and air platforms).

• Architecture definition and design of analog and digital electronic boards, with emphasis on video systems (analog & digital)
• End-to-end electronic design leadership: concept, PDR / CDR / SDR, schematic design, full board bring-up
• Close collaboration with PCB designers, manufacturers, and subcontractors – NPI and transfer to production
• Writing and maintaining hardware specifications (SPECs) and HW-SW integration
• Planning and execution of tests: ATP, burn-in, environmental testing, EMI/RFI
• Design and implementation of test jigs and fixtures
• Full system integration and participation in system-level tests and trials

• B.Sc. in Electrical / Electronics Engineering – mandatory
• At least 10 years of hands-on experience in analog and digital board design
• Strong command of CAD tools (significant advantage for OrCAD)
• Deep understanding of PCB manufacturing and assembly processes
• Experience working with military / defense systems – strong advantage
• High level of independence, ownership, and system-level thinking

• Experience integrating FPGA devices
• Experience developing hardware for video systems
