Head of Finance

Our client is a software vendor that sells solutions to Telecommunications Service Providers in Europe. The business is in the 300-500 people range and is owned by a large listed company in North America. They have a presence in Israel, and the role is a Head of Finance for the group reporting to the CFO, who is situated in the UK.

Position Summary

:The Head of Finance oversees all financial aspects of a business unit (BU) and drives the company’s financial strategies in partnership with the Senior Leadership Team. As a key business partner to the CEO/Business Unit Leader, the role holder is accountable for BU’s forecast, financial operations, as well as compliance with statutory requirements. You are a strategic thinker with a strong commercial and financial acumen. You will be expected to collaborate positively, have a passion to succeed and be prepared to take smart risks

Responsibilitie

s • Support the BU Leader and functional managers to develop clear business plans a

ndpriorities. Active member of leadership team delivering business performanc

e.• Own the Quarterly Strategic Review (QSR) forecasting process and ensure foreca

staccuracy is within +/-5

%.• Provide financial and management reporting and analysis of the BU performanc

e,with a focus on key operating ratios, ensuring commentaries are succinct a

ndinsightful. Present the results as require

d.• Identify issues and propose opportunities for operational improvements. Monitor t

heexecution of improvement plans arisin

g.• Work closely with all functional leads to ensure project bids and contract term

s,financial and otherwise, adhere to corporate policie

l.Key Skills & Competencie

s:• Accounting Qualification (CPA

).• Solid technical knowledge of IFRS, particularly IFRS 15/ASC60

6.• Hands-on mindset; comfortable preparing and reviewing reconciliations, posti

ngjournals, and preparing working paper

s.• Advanced Excel skills required, and in addition experience in NetSuite, SAP BP

C,Blackline, Salesforce, would be an advantag

e.• Proven ability to work independently, manage shifting priorities in a fast-pac
