🔋 System Engineer (Software) | Smart Energy Domain (DERMS)

📍 Location: Petah Tikva, Israel | Full-time

A leading technology company in the smart energy and grid management domain is looking for an experienced Software System Engineer to join its professional system engineering team and work on large-scale, mission-critical platforms.

This role includes full technical ownership (Technical Owner) of complex, multidisciplinary projects, close collaboration with global B2B customers, and leading advanced software solutions for managing distributed energy resources (PV, energy storage, smart grid).

What will you do?

• Work closely with customers in Israel and abroad
• Analyze customer needs and translate them into system requirements and specifications
• Lead end-to-end system solutions (E2E)
• Collaborate closely with R&D, architecture, and QA teams
• Lead design reviews and system acceptance processes
• Manage interfaces, schedules, and external vendors

What are we looking for?

• B.Sc. in Software Engineering / Computer Engineering / Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience in defining system requirements and writing technical design documents
• Experience with complex, multidisciplinary software systems
• At least 2 years of hands-on development or R&D experience
• Experience as a System Engineer / Technical Manager / Technical Product Manager
• Strong communication, leadership, and customer-facing skills

Experience in command & control systems, mission-critical platforms, complex SaaS products, energy, or infrastructure domains is a strong advantage.
