The Role 

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Organic Chemist to join our R&D team. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, develop novel active compounds, and contribute to meaningful scientific and technological advancements in cosmetic science.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new active and bio-active compounds for cosmetic applications.
• Lead R&D projects from initial idea through proof of concept and commercialization, ensuring scientific excellence and innovation.
• Conduct literature reviews and stay up to date with the latest scientific and technological developments relevant to the role.
• Design and execute efficient experimental plans aligned with project goals, timelines, and key objectives (OKRs).
• Analyze experimental results, draw meaningful conclusions, and support the development and scale-up of new products.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry.
• Proven expertise in organic synthesis – mandatory.
• Experience working with HPLC – strong advantage.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to details.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong organizational skills and efficient time and resource management (experience with Gantt charts and project planning tools is an advantage).
