Data Engineer

A startup operating in the Performance Marketing space, specializing in AI-driven performance marketing solutions. The company builds and sells highly targeted leads that help customers grow their user base and scale their businesses, while reducing costs and improving efficiency through smart, AI-based systems.

Based in Tel Aviv, near the train station, with a hybrid work model of one day per week from home and four days from the office. The company employs around 30 people.

The company operates as a bootstrapped business, profitable from day one, with no external investors and an active base of paying customers.

Role overview -

• Part of a newly formed team
• Hands-on implementation and deployment of machine learning models into production
• Work in a cloud-based environment on GCP
• Development and production work using Spark and Databricks

Requirements -

• 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Strong hands-on experience with Python
• Strong software engineering fundamentals (clean code, testing, system design)
• Experience building real-time, low-latency data services
• Experience operating in production at scale (high throughput, distributed systems)
• Strong background with modern data stack (e.g., Kafka/Kinesis, Spark/Flink/Beam, Snowflake/BigQuery/Redshift)
• Ability to design schemas, ingestion flows, and data quality frameworks
• Experience collaborating with ML teams on feature availability and consistency
