Argu transforms standard CCTV networks into programmable Vision Agents. Using our platform, customers can chat with thousands of cameras in natural language on anything caught on camera.

The Role

We're seeking a hands-on field engineer to travel to customers' physical sites and take full ownership of new customer installations.

You will own the full implementation lifecycle: arriving at customer sites, configuring the environment, and managing the end-to-end installation of our platform, including integration with the customer's existing systems. Working directly at customer facilities, you will bridge the gap between our software and their local camera infrastructure to ensure a successful launch and make the system go live.

What the work looks like:

• System Setup: You will be responsible for the physical/remote delivery and setup of our solution for the customer
• Video Integration: You will connect our software to the customer's Video Management System (VMS) or NVR and integrate with their live feeds.
• Network Management: You will work with the customer’s IT team to configure VPNs, manage firewalls, and ensure the video streams are stable and secure.
• Software Launch: You’ll deploy our software environment (Linux/Docker) on-site and ensure the successful onboarding for the customer
• Technical support & Point-of-Contact: You will be the lead tech support for customers you own for the first 60 days after launch

What you need to bring:

• Video Systems (Must): You have deep experience with at least two of these: Milestone, Avigilon, Hikvision, or Genetec. You know how they work and how to pull streams from them.
• Networking (Must): You understand how to set up a VPN, how RTSP works, and how to navigate a corporate firewall.
• DevOps Background (Huge Advantage): If you are comfortable working in a Linux terminal and know your way around Docker or Kubernetes, you have a massive head start.
• Coding/APIs (Advantage): Basic knowledge of how to work with APIs or a bit of Python scripting is a plus.

Think of it as a Field Devops engineer with experience in video systems.

The "Can-Do" Attitude: You like being in the field. You’re comfortable walking into a server room, finding the right port, and making sure everything is connected perfectly.
