Assistant Controller

A Fintech startup in the Center area is looking for an Assistant Controller.

An opportunity to perform a broad and interesting role reporting to the CFO and integrate into a small finance team.

Full-time position in the Center area.

Job Description:

• Managing ongoing monthly closings.
• Preparation of financial statements and tax reports.
• Budget construction and analysis vs. actual results.
• Cash flow management and ongoing conduct with banks.
• Conducting interactions with the auditing CPAs.
• Implementation and assimilation of work processes and controls.
• Supervision and control of bookkeeping.

Requirements:

• CPA certification – Mandatory!
• Big 4 graduate with a background in the Financial Sector / proven experience auditing Fintech companies.
• High proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with Priority / Prime systems – significant advantage.
• Accuracy, thoroughness, order, and organization.
• Ability to work independently alongside integration into a team.
• Responsibility and ability to meet deadlines.
