Backend team leader

A promising startup in the DevTools space, developing technology that simplifies the process of identifying and resolving issues in Kubernetes environments through change monitoring and automation capabilities.

The company employs 80 people and is based in Tel Aviv, near a train station. It operates a hybrid work model with two fixed work-from-home days per week

The company has raised tens of millions of dollars from leading global venture capital funds and is approaching a significant Series C round expected to drive major growth and company expansion. Over the past year, the company has tripled its revenue.

Role overview:

• Management of a team of 6 engineers: 4 Backend Developers and 2 DevOps Engineers
• Leadership and ownership of core development infrastructure
• Hands-on technical leadership focused primarily on Backend development

Requirements:

• 2–5 years of experience managing Backend engineering teams (hands-on, not overly senior)
• 5 years of hands-on Backend development experience using Go and/or Python
• Mandatory experience working with Kubernetes in production environments
• Mandatory experience working with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Background in strong, well-established high-tech companies
• Proven stability with meaningful tenure in previous roles
• Mandatory technological degree or background from an elite technological unit
