Software Engineering Team Lead

We are looking for a hands-on Team Lead to join our Tel-Aviv office.

Ariga specializes in database infrastructure and development tools. Its flagship product, Atlas, is a schema management solution that simplifies database schema migrations, design, and deployments, incorporating the "schema-as-code" principle. The company also builds and maintains a commercial SaaS platform on top of Atlas called Atlas Cloud, and is the official maintainer of Ent, a successful open-source project with a thriving community.

The company is in a post-series A stage, funded by some of the top VC firms in the world. It's located at Migdal Hashachar (near Rakevet Merkaz).

As a Team Lead, you will:

• Lead a team of engineers and be responsible for their technical output and growth
• Set product direction and drive architectural decisions in your area
• Own engineering initiatives end-to-end, from idea and design to implementation, testing, and delivery
• Work closely with leadership to shape roadmap and priorities
• Contribute to and help steward successful open-source projects
• Maintain a high bar for code quality, design, testing, and operational excellence
• Continuously improve the tooling, processes, and infrastructure we use to build products at Ariga

Requirements:

• Proven senior-level experience (7+ years) in software engineering, preferably in a cloud-based environment
• Previous experience leading engineers or acting as a technical lead
• Academic background in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• Strong understanding of databases and data infrastructure
• Experience using Go, React, GraphQL, TypeScript and other modern web technologies
• Experience building SaaS and/or enterprise web applications
• Strong communication skills and ability to drive alignment across teams
