Vice President Operations

🚀 We’re Hiring: VP Operations | Advanced Manufacturing | Energy & Smart Batteries

A global, technology-driven manufacturing company in the energy & smart battery solutions space is looking for a VP Operations to lead and scale its operations across two production sites in Israel.

The company develops and manufactures smart batteries, chargers, BMS systems and advanced energy solutions for demanding industries including defense, aerospace, maritime and medical equipment.

This is a new executive role in the organization, reporting directly to the CEO and serving as a key member of the leadership team.

📍 Location: On-site across two sites – Dimona & Beit Shemesh (several days per week in each site)

👥 Scale: ~230 employees | Leadership responsibility for 100+ employees

🔹 Lead end-to-end operations across both manufacturing sites (production lines for smart batteries, energy systems & chargers)

🔹 Drive operational excellence: productivity, quality, delivery performance and business KPIs

🔹 Manage complex multi-stage manufacturing processes and continuous improvement initiatives

🔹 Ensure high equipment availability through preventive maintenance and operational control

🔹 Own Quality & Regulatory compliance: QA/QC, non-conformities, and strict standards (ISO / AS9100 and similar)

🔹 Lead internal & external audits (customers, regulators, etc.)

🔹 Manage Supply Chain, Procurement & Logistics end-to-end: suppliers, inventory optimization, cost reduction and availability

🔹 Oversee import/export operations, documentation, and regulatory approvals

🔹 Support engineering-to-production integration and lead NPI activities when required

🔹 Drive automation, industrial engineering and process optimization projects

🔹 Work closely with Engineering leadership (Electrical/Mechanical teams) and cross-functional stakeholders

✅ Proven experience leading industrial operations/manufacturing in similar environments (electronics, batteries, defense, medical devices, energy, etc.)

✅ Strong leadership experience managing 100+ employees

✅ Deep understanding of Quality and regulatory requirements (ISO / AS9100)

✅ Experience managing complex global supply chains and strategic vendors

✅ Engineering degree (Electrical / Mechanical / Industrial Engineering) – required

⭐ MSc/MBA – advantage

✅ High-level English

✅ Hands-on leadership style, strong decision-making, and ability to operate in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
