Algorithm Engineer

A startup that has developed an innovative solution aimed at revolutionizing the use of AI in defense and security industries.

The company was founded through a collaboration between the defense sector and one of Israel’s leading and earliest AI technology companies.

The company has strong product–market fit, active customers, and significant funding secured for the coming years, with plans to triple its size within the next year.

Based in Tel Aviv, near the train station. The team primarily works from the office, with flexibility when needed. The company currently employs 20+ people.

Role responsibilities-

• Part of a team developing AI-based Computer Vision systems
• Design and development of Deep Learning models using Python and PyTorch
• Work with geo-spatial and aerial data from satellites, drones, and UAVs
• Training models for tasks such as perception, self-supervision, representation learning, and video analysis
• Development and optimization of object detection and tracking models
• Work with Vision-Language Models (VLMs) and zero/few-shot learning approaches
• Application of classical Computer Vision techniques alongside deep learning methods
• Work with multi-sensor data, including EO, SAR, and IR, and integration with domains such as radar, robotics, and vehicles

Requirements-

• 4 years of experience as an AI Algorithm developer in the industry
• 3 years of experience in relevant AI algorithm domains
• Deep understanding of classical computer vision techniques and their applications.
• Proven ability to design, implement, and evaluate complex AI systems.
• Proficiency with Python and PyTorch
