Category Manager – Engineering & Industrial Procurement

Location: Petah Tikva HQ + nationwide travel.

Tnuva’s Procurement Division manages large‑scale budgets and plays a key role in major business decisions. We are seeking an experienced Category Manager to lead strategic procurement activities in engineering, technical, and industrial domains, with annual spend of 70–100M ILS.

Key Responsibilitie

• End‑to‑end strategic management of engineering/technical categories, including multi‑years planning and execution
• Lead commercial negotiations, identify new suppliers, and finalize procurement agreements
• Analyze spend data, market landscape, cost structures, risks, and innovation opportunities
• Drive efficiency and cost‑saving initiatives across the category
• Manage supplier performance, quality, and supply issues
• Serve as the primary procurement interface for internal and external stakeholders
• Work from HQ twice a week; additional travel to sites across Israel as needed

.Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree — mandatory (Business, Economics, Law, Technology, Engineering preferred)
• 3+ years of experience in strategic procurement of tens of millions of ILS in engineering/technical fields — mandatory
• Deep knowledge of at least two areas: industrial production systems, electricity, construction, infrastructure, instrumentation, control, wastewater, engineering consulting — mandatory
• Strong analytical and financial skills; high proficiency in English
• Experience with ERP systems — mandatory
• Strong negotiation skills, strategic thinking, and ability to work under pressure
• Full‑time availability; willingness to travel nationwide
• No hybrid model — daily on‑site presence required
