Technical Support Specialist

Join the Silo team to support users of our smart vacuum-sealing food system. You will manage Tier 1 support, assist users with setup and troubleshooting, and escalate issues when necessary. This role is ideal for a tech-savvy, independent student with excellent communication skills.

What You’ll Do:

• Serve as the first point of contact via Freshdesk
• Troubleshoot setup, connectivity, app, and container problems
• Use internal tools to diagnose device or container issues
• Escalate complex problems and direct non-technical inquiries appropriately
• Occasionally participate in scheduled live troubleshooting calls
• Help update support content regularly

Requirements:

• Native-level proficiency in English (spoken and written)
• Strong technical instincts, especially regarding home networking and mobile devices
• Calm and empathetic communication style with users
• Ability to analyze device logs using internal tools
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace
• Preferred availability: late afternoon/evening (Israel time)
• Bonus: experience in technical support or military tech roles
