MetoMotion is an innovative young robotics company. Our Greenhouse Robotic Worker (GRoW) is a platform for harvesting greenhouse crops and analyzing data to improve grower outcomes and predictability.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Engineer at Metomotion in Yokneam Ilit. The role will involve day-to-day tasks such as machine design, CAD, assembly and testing of new designs, NPI, and research and development (R&D).

Qualifications

• Machine Design using CAD, Solidworks, or equivalent
• Experience in machine design of mechanism, machine elements, automation ,structural design
• Experience in drawing of mechanical components
• Preparing bill of materials (BOM) using PLM /PDM system
• Experience in Research and Development (R&D)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• hands-on experience in assembly process and testing
• knowledge of mechatronics.
• Previous internships or relevant work experience is a plus
• Passion for machines
