Senior Firmware Security Engineer

Role Description

The position requires deep knowledge and experience in R&D of low-level firmware for advanced SoCs, from the silicon-near layer to the Linux Kernel & OS / FreeRTOS / bare metal layers, with an emphasis on security-related subsystems - mainly for ARM-based SoCs, e.g. NXP i.MX, AMD Zynq, STM32, NVIDIA Jetson - and also for x86-based SoCs e.g. Intel Xeon, AMD Ryzen.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Kernel & U-Boot
• Extensive experience in reading and executing upon Technical Reference Manuals (TRM) of SoCs
• Experience in Secure Boot
• Experience with ARM-based SoCs - must ; Experience with x86-based SoCs - advantage
• Knowledge of cryptographic algorithms and protocols
• Knowledge of BSP (and Board Bring-Up)
• Familiarity with security standards such as Common Criteria, FIPS and PSA
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and collaborative environment
